Preliminary testing of sealing materials and proper pretreatment are essential for a successful adhesion/seal. To enhance adhesion, the substrates must be clean, free of greasy elements, dust and old adhesives or sealants and with a perfect structure. The elements to be sealed must be assembled immediately, i.e. before the film is formed, and – if necessary – stabilized. TURBO ALL-SEAL is applied to many surfaces without primer.
However, where required, the use of a solder booster is recommended. The correct dimensioning of the joints (joints) is necessary for an excellent sealing.
To apply the material, cut the tube, screw on the nozzle and spread the material in lines, using a gun or spatula, evenly on the surfaces to be welded. The thickness of the material depends on the surface of the materials to be welded. Adjust the connection within 30 minutes at the latest. The surfaces must remain stable for 24 hours. After application, the joints are cleaned and finished with TURBO TOP-FINISH.
Cleaning:
BEFORE: With TURBO TOP-CLEAN or with common cleaners, such as alcohol, turpentine, white spirit, nitrous solvent, etc.
META: The remaining material can be cleaned - fresh - with alcohol or, alternatively, removed with a spatula or knife.
