Suitable for:

Welding: e.g. glass, stone, natural stone, concrete, structural plaster, many synthetic materials, wood, novopan, Trespa, iron, aluminum, zinc, steel, stainless steel and other metals, ceramic tiles, cork and mirrors. Connection: e.g. skirting boards, paneling, window sills, thresholds, roof cornices, structural boards, insulating materials, plasterboard, polystyrene trim and decorative frames. Sealing: e.g. skirting boards (synthetic), frames, steps, window sills, thresholds and false walls. It is also suitable for sealing cracks in walls and ceilings.

Not suitable for

Not suitable for Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and asphalt. When bonding plastics always perform an adhesion test first. Adhesion to plastics can vary depending on the type of synthetic material and the quality of the plastic.

Working conditions

Apply only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.

Surface requirements

Both parts must be dry, clean, free of dust and grease. No primer is required. The surface may be slightly damp.

Tools

Apply using a silicone gun. If necessary, use a rubber mallet to tap.

Cover

With spot welding: 5-8 m² / kg. Strips: one container is enough for about 8-15 meters of glue (depending on the diameter of the cutting nozzle).

Instructions for use

Connection and fixing: Apply in strips or dots (every 10 – 40 cm). Always apply to the corners and along the edges of the construction boards. Place the material correctly within 10 minutes and lightly press or tap with a rubber mallet. If necessary, clamp or fasten heavy materials for 4 hours. Pressure can be applied after 2 hours (the connection is now strong enough to withstand transport or a light load). Maximum ultimate strength after approx. 4 hours, depending on surface and ambient conditions. Sealing: Apply evenly to the bottom of the joint with the tool within 10 minutes using a wet (soap water without lemon) putty knife, tool or finger. Apply to vertical joints from bottom to top. Complete curing after a few days (depending on layer thickness). When painting with alkyd paint, the paint may dry more slowly.

Points of caution

The time it takes for the adhesive to dry is based on bonding at least one porous material with an adhesive thickness of approximately 1 mm. If two non-porous materials are bonded and/or the adhesive layer is thicker, drying times can be substantially longer. When glue is applied under water, it may turn white. Avoid continuous direct contact with UV radiation (eg sealing applications outdoors).

Stains / residues

Use turpentine to clean tools and remove fresh glue residue. Dried adhesive residues can only be removed by mechanical means.

Storage conditions

Close the container tightly and store in a dry, cool place where there is no chance of ice forming.
