IDEAL FOR

  • Welding: e.g. glass, stone, natural stone, concrete, structural plaster, many synthetic materials, wood, novopan, Trespa, iron, aluminum, zinc, steel, stainless steel and other metals, ceramic tiles, cork and mirrors.
  • Connection: e.g. skirting boards, paneling, window sills, thresholds, roof cornices, structural boards, insulating materials, plasterboard, polystyrene trim and decorative frames.
  • Sealing: e.g. skirting boards (synthetic), frames, steps, window sills, thresholds and false walls. It is also suitable for sealing cracks in walls and ceilings.

BEFORE USE

  • Working conditions:Apply only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
  • Surface Requirements:Both parts must be dry, clean, free of dust and grease. No primer is required. The surface may be slightly damp.
  • Tools:Use a silicone gun to handle the cartridge. If necessary, use a rubber mallet to lightly tap the surface.
  • Product preparation:Before use, open the ampoule by cutting the plastic nipple at the top of the ampoule with a sharp knife. Screw on the nozzle and bevel to the desired diameter.

DURING USE

  • Cartridge management:Welding and fixing: Cut the nose to a diameter of at least 0.5 cm. Sealing: Cut the spout at an angle according to the desired width of the joint.
  • Instructions for use:Bonding and fixing: Apply in lines or dots (every 10 – 40 cm). Always apply in the corners and along the edges of the structural boards. Install the material properly within 10 minutes and press firmly or tap with a rubber mallet. If necessary, clamp or stabilize heavy materials for 4 hours. You can use the surfaces after 2 hours, at which point the connection will now be strong enough to withstand transport or a light load. The maximum final strength is reached after approximately 4 hours, depending on the surface (at least 1 porous material) and the ambient conditions. Sealing: Apply evenly to the underside of the joint and spread within 10 minutes using a putty knife, a silicone sanding tool or your finger after wetting them (with non-lemon soapy water). Work the vertical joints from the bottom up. Complete hardening is achieved after a few days (depending on the thickness of the layer). When painting with an alkyl paint, the paint may take longer to dry.
  • Attention points:The following drying times are based on bonding at least one porous material with an adhesive layer approximately 1 mm thick. If you are joining two non-porous materials and/or the adhesive layer is thicker, drying times may be significantly longer. If the glue is applied underwater, it may turn white.

AFTER USE

  • Stains / residues:Use turpentine to clean tools and remove fresh glue residue. Dried adhesive residues can only be removed by mechanical means.
  • Storage conditions:Close the container tightly and store in a dry, cool place where there is no chance of ice forming.

**Not suitable for Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and asphalt. When bonding plastics always perform an adhesion test first. Adhesion to plastics can vary depending on the type of synthetic material and the quality of the plastic.
