Specifications:

The THC 404 PRO product is a fiber-reinforced, cement-based, one-component mortar modified with polymeric additives. It is a niche
product recommended for bonding and plastering thermal insulation boards such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS) and
stone wool, in external thermal insulation systems of buildings. It consists of cement, quartz sand with a maximum grain size of 0.5mm, limestone fillers and improvement additives. The product THC 404 PRO has a very strong adhesion to all common substrates and heat-insulating plates, high elasticity, resistance to cold and moisture. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Complies with European EN 13499 and ETAG 004 standards

Field of application:

THC 404 PRO is used as an adhesive and also as a base layer plaster of thermal insulation boards for the external thermal facade system (ETICS) of THRAKON.

THC 404 PRO adhesive in combination with glass mesh can be used to cover joints of different types of masonry (aerated concrete with
concrete, bricks with porous concrete, etc.), to cover the channels in the brickwork of the electricians and plumbers, to strengthen the edges of the openings (in doors and windows) in order to avoid future cracks, etc.

Preparation:

The application substrate must be flat, clean of loose and foreign bodies such as e.g. residues of mud, plasters, paints, oils, etc. and without large cracks. Also, the substrate must be stable and free from shrinkage and deformation stresses and not receive vibrations.
