SUPER GLUE 5GR WITH BLISTER BISON BRUSH

Ideal for small area welding. Bonds almost all solid and flexible materials, many plastics (such as rigid PVC, ABS, PS, Plexiglas^®, polycarbonate (Makrolon®) and phenolic resins (Bakelite®)), leather, porcelain, ceramics, metals, wood, cork, felt, fabric (check suitability first) and rubber. Only partially suitable for glass (after a period of time the bond becomes brittle, causing fading).

Not suitable for

Not suitable for PE, PP, silicone and rubber resins (Si), PTFE, Teflon^®, styrofoam, fabrics and leather clothing.

Working conditions

Do not use at temperatures below +10°C. The adhesive responds optimally to an air humidity level of 50-70%.

Surface requirements

The materials to be glued must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease and fit properly.

Preliminary surface treatment

Any dust, oils, grease, wax or release agents should be thoroughly removed from the surfaces to be bonded. The best way to achieve this is to scrub the parts a few times with suitable solvents such as acetone (if this is suitable for the material – check first!). For metals and metal alloys it is usually sufficient to roughen the surface using emery paper or by sanding or brushing.

Instructions for use

Open the bottle by unscrewing the cap. Apply a thin layer of glue to one side using the brush (too much glue slows down the curing process considerably!). Press the parts together immediately. After use: Wipe off excess glue with a dry cloth and close the lid tightly.

Advice

When gluing in low humidity, the curing time can be reduced by briefly exhaling one of the parts to be assembled. The best adhesive results are achieved at room temperature.

Points of caution

Contains cyanoacrylate compound. Sticks to skin and eyelids in seconds. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of skin contact, the adhesive can be dissolved by immersion in warm soapy water. Then use a skin cream. May cause irritation of the respiratory system. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep away from children.

Stains / residues

Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth. After curing, the adhesive residue is very difficult to remove. Acetone will dissolve the glue but very slowly (check suitability first).
