Solvent Betochrom is a special solvent acrylic cement color that effectively protects concrete surfaces such as floors for daily use and mild stress, stairs, pavers, sidewalks, patios, garages and walls. It is particularly recommended for exposed concrete because it protects the bearing reinforcement from corrosion. It is easily applied and has strong adhesion, great coverage and great resistance to adverse weather conditions. It is also suitable for tile roofs and other building materials. It dries quickly and gives a matte and hard finish with great resistance to atmospheric pollution and difficult weather conditions.
Surface Preparation
· The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from defective or poorly cohesive materials, dust, oils and salts.
· Smooth or non-porous surfaces must be properly sanded.
· On very absorbent or heavily chalked surfaces, apply 1 coat of VIVEDUR PRIMER, thinned to 100% with Vivechrom GUN THINNER.
· Processing such as dry sanding, using a flame to cut or weld painted surfaces will create dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet scrubbing should be used where possible. Work in a well-ventilated area. Use suitable means for respiratory protection.
Application
· Apply one coat of BETOCHROM SOLVENT diluted up to 10% cc. with GUN SOLVENT and after at least 8 hours a second coat diluted again to 10%.
· The paint is applied and allowed to dry at a temperature of 5° to 35°C.
· It is not recommended to apply it on asphalt surfaces.
