GOMASTIT AQUA PROTECT flex liquid is suitable for

• Coating of large horizontal surfaces, foundations, floor slabs.
• Repair and maintenance of movable ceilings, sealing and waterproofing of ceilings, etc.
• Repair and reinforcement of existing waterproofing systems.
• Sealing and repairing connections such as chimneys, skylights, light fixtures, aerials, satellites, air conditioner piping, changes and connections throughout the flat roof.
• Repair of gutters and drains.
• Sealing - insulation - waterproofing of large areas and protection of vertical surfaces.
• Injection – filling of horizontal movement joints.
• It is suitable for: Aluminium, anodised aluminium, electrostatically painted aluminium*, concrete, plaster, plasters, pencil, stainless steel, EPDM – membranes*, asbestos cement, galvanized sheets, galvanized sheets, GFK – polyesters, woods, plasterboard, copper, brass , PVC – hard and soft*, tiles, roof tiles, slate, steel, metallized steel, bricks, cement blocks, zinc sheets.

Instructions:

1. The substrate must be dry, free of dust, grease and loose elements.
2. Old coatings must be removed in advance.
3. The substrate must be in a structurally sound, sustainable form.
4. On many clean substrates a good adhesion can be achieved without an adhesion promoter.
5. However, it should always be checked if the cured product is exposed to large temperature fluctuations or comes into contact with water.
6. In this case, as well as when absorbent or difficult substrates are present, it is always recommended to apply adhesion booster V21 beforehand.
7. On non-absorbent substrates, the application of V40 adhesion enhancer is recommended.
8. For plastics, such as PVC, PMMA and polycarbonate (as in skylights), it is recommended to roughen the plastic surface beforehand with sandpaper no. 80-100 (followed by dust removal and cleaning with alcohol) and also the use of primer adhesion booster V40.
9. Due to the variety of tar (asphalt) materials available on the market, we recommend preliminary testing.
10. If exposed to heat and/or direct sunlight, primer V17 must be used first.
11. Preliminary testing is recommended for uncoated bituminous substrates.
12. GOMASTIT AQUA PROTECT flex liquid is ready to use and can be applied evenly and completely from the container in two layers, by roller or brush.
13. The minimum drying time of the first layer is 6 hours (at +20°C / 50% humidity and 1 mm layer thickness.
