PU MAX WOOD GLUE 250GR BOTTLE D4 BISON

For waterproof (D4) (flat) welding of almost all types of wood. It is used in non-load-bearing wooden structures, in various forms of wood joints, such as ring joints, joints, mortise and tongue joints, pins and springs. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications such as shipbuilding, facade carpentry and sandwich panels. It is also suitable for less easy connections (eg slatted wood). It is only applicable if one of the two surfaces is porous (high absorbency).

Not suitable for

Not suitable for joining polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and nylon (PA).

Working conditions

The temperature of the environment, the glue and the materials to be glued must not be lower than +5°C. Relative humidity up to 65%. Wood moisture level between 10% and 18% (max 25%).

Surface requirements

The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free of dust. Moisten the unglued side with a damp cloth.

Preliminary surface treatment

The surfaces must be clean, free of dust and grease and fit well with each other. For optimal strength of the connection, the gap should not be more than 0.1 mm. Degrease oily types of wood with solvent.

Notched spatula (1 mm) or brush and glue clamp or press.

Instructions for use

Apply a thin and even layer of adhesive to one of the two surfaces using a notched trowel (1 mm) or brush. Join the two surfaces within 30 minutes and apply pressure or apply clamps for at least 4 hours.

Stains / residues

Immediately remove glue stains with or acetone. Dry stains can only be removed mechanically.

Storage conditions

Store in a properly sealed package in a dry place, at a temperature of +10°C to +20°C.
