BLISTER BISON JOINT TAPES

Ideal for stylish and waterproof joints in bathtub, shower, counter, sink and floor.

Not suitable for

Not suitable for Tar, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP). PTFE and silicone.

Working conditions

Apply only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.

Preliminary surface treatment

Clean the surface very well using an abrasive and carefully remove the old silicone residue. Surface irregularities, such as deep joints, use a thin filler first. Carefully degrease the surface with alcohol or ammonia (not white spirit!) and let it dry properly

Instructions for use

Cut the tape to the desired size allowing for a margin of about 10–15 mm. Pull the first few centimeters of the protective strip from the tape. Place the beginning of the tape over the joint to be covered. Then insert the whole thing without pulling, constantly pushing hard. At the end of the joint, cut off the excess tape. Check if the tape is stuck well, especially in the joints between the tiles. Then place the rest of the tapes in the same way. At the corners, make sure that one tape falls on top of the other. Starting from the corner, cut the overlapping pieces diagonally (45°) and press firmly.

Stains / residues

Remove tape residue with (turpentine) white spirit.
