GROVER WASHER DIN 127
Safety washers (growers) according to DIN 127, galvanized.
They are mainly used in screws with a hexagonal head, and their purpose is to relieve and homogenize the stresses under the head and over the nut (nut).
Unlike plain washers, lock washers apply a force between the screw or nut and the connected member, which increases friction.
Lock washers prevent nuts from loosening (right-hand threads only), and hold the connecting member in place even if the nut is slightly loosened.
They should not be used together with plain washers.
